Firmly convinced of the power of a smile, Gustav Ehrenreich created the joyful Hoptimist movement in the late 1960s. The goal was to design a figurine that would constantly remind us of the importance of remaining positive and optimistic. Bimble and Bumble are the very first Hoptimists created by the designer: A girl dressed in a dress with smiling eyes and an attentive boy with a stick on his head.
